In the rain at Talladega on May 5, 2015, Logano was in position to win in the Xfinity Series when an incident occurred with teammate Keselowski. Logano led on the outside with Keselowski behind him. The two were battling for a position when Logano, who was driving the number 12, saw Keselowski get ahead of him. Logano gave up the position to attempt to battle him. Logano was unable to get back to Keselowski and made contact with his rival, causing a multi-car crash that saw Keselowski and Logano retire. Logano was visibly upset about the incident as he was interviewed after the race. Keselowski later apologized to Logano on Twitter. Logano ended his 2015 Xfinity Series campaign with four top-five and four top-10 finishes, scoring six top-five and 12 top-ten finishes, finishing sixth in the final points standings. He won his first Xfinity Series race in his fifth career start.
In 2009, Logano drove the No. 22 Ford Mustang for the new team he co-founded with Dave Blaney, BK Racing,[19] to compete full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. While he initially struggled in his first full-time season, Logano was able to win at Phoenix, and came in third in the standings, in just his second full-time season driving for BK Racing. His next race, at Bristol, was a much more successful one, as he won the Nationwide Series race for the first time. At the end of the 2009 season, Logano was ranked third in the points standings with four wins, 30 top-five finishes, and a total of 44 top-ten finishes. 827ec27edc
