Before you start the steps, make sure that you have backups of your phone. It’s also a good idea to do some research on this topic before you start the process. Also, keep in mind that depending on the type of your Galaxy A50, you might need to do some additional steps. For example, if you have a dual SIM device, check the article for further information.
To be able to flash the update to the Galaxy A50, there are a few requirements you need to meet. The first one is that you have to be running an Android version below Android 9 Pie. So if your device is running Android 10 or Android 11, you can’t update to Android 11. If you want to, you can only go as far as Android 8.1 Oreo. If you are not sure if your device is Oreo compatible, you can check out this article that will tell you if your device is Oreo compatible.
An Android 11 GSI image is a completely stock Android OS version. It comes with a clean build of the AOSP version, that means you don't need to download or flash anything else. This method is based on the XDA developers' guide and is very similar to the guide above. It's also the same guide that we wrote in our KitKat guide .
To successfully update your device to Android 11, you will need the following files:
Nandroid Backup
The latest firmware for your Galaxy A50
Samsung USB Drivers
Bootloader Unlock
Fully charged battery
The simplest way to update your device to the latest Android version is to flash the latest stable firmware. You can find the stable firmware of your device at GSM Arena , or if you want to use our firmware, click here . We highly recommend flashing the firmware on our servers, as it is much faster and you’ll get a much better experience with a stock AOSP ROM.
Download the files at the bottom of the post. Make sure your phone is fully charged, and connect it to your PC using the Samsung USB drivers. If you have problems connecting your device, follow this guide .
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
